Bill (Trooper) Boyd "Best in Show" Memorial Award

The annual Bill (Trooper) Boyd "Best in Show" Memorial Award was started by the Florida Leather n Fetish Pride staff continuing the tradition Bill Boyd began as “Best in Show” at International Mr. Leather (IML) 31 and presented it for outstanding service as a puppy to the pup they felt best represented the community based on how they conducted themselves in and out of pup gear during Florida Leather n Fetish Pride and for the pup's contributions and involvement in the community.

International Puppy Weekend continued the tradition of observing pups attending the International Puppy Contest (IPC) and researched each potential nominee's community involvement. After selecting nominees and determining their contributions to the community, the previous winners of the award considered each nominee and voted for the "Best" puppy based on the information collected and then presented the award collar to the unsuspecting puppy on stage during the contest.
